Sign up for their unlimited coffee subscription to get free cups of coffee until the end of 2021! (If you’re an American Express cardholder, you can get free coffee for 6 months!)
The coffee subscription is complimentary until the end of the year, then you pay $8.99/month plus tax starting in January 2022. The monthly payment is automatically charged but you can cancel at any time.
Here’s what’s involved with the Panera coffee subscription:
- Get 1 cup of drip hot coffee, iced coffee, or hot tea every 2 hours during regular hours.
- Includes free refills of the same beverage.
- Any size cup.
- Does not include cold brew coffee, espresso drinks, and iced tea.

Sign up online for the MyPanera + Coffee subscription plan.
You can sign up for the subscription on their site, and on their mobile app, and through QR code available at Panera locations.

Is The Coffee Subscription Worth It?
If you’re already a fan of drip coffee and you live or work near a Panera, it’s definitely worth it.
The subscription comes out to about 30¢ per cup per day with the plan costing $8.99 plus tax per month.
Each 16 ounce cup of coffee at Panera cpsts $2.49, so if you get more than 4 cups of Panera coffee a month, it’s worth it.
But, if you’re not near a Panera or don’t normally drink drip coffee but prefer lattes, which are espresso based, this subscription wouldn’t be worth it.
Coffee at Panera
I would say the coffee at Panera is decent. It’s not the best and it’s not the worst.
Panera serves their drip coffee in carafes and when I get their coffee after it has been freshly made, in a completely full carafe, the coffee tastes so much better than an almost empty carafe that has been sitting there for a couple of hours.

Nope. Only hot tea in the form of tea bags in hot water and drip coffees are included in the subscription.
Unfortunately, no. The subscriptions are tied to each person’s MyPanera account so it’s not possible to gift. You can only use your account for your own subscription.
