Combine instant coffee, sugar, and water in a tall cup.Use a tall glass so there isn't a mess once the milk frother starts whipping together the ingredients. Use cool or cold filtered water.
Froth coffee.After 15 seconds of whipping, froth will reach almost to the top of the glass.
Add ice.
Add half & half.Instead of half & half, feel free to swap it out with any other kind of milk. Stir drink before drinking.
If you don't have a handheld milk frother, shake instant coffee, sugar, and cold or cool water in a cocktail shaker or a jar with a tight lid and until it thickens and froths. (Should take less than a minute.)
Make it decadent by adding a scoop of ice cream instead of milk. (Feel free to take out the sugar too if you don't want it too sweet.)
