Starbucks Iced Chocolate Almondmilk Shaken Espresso

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Put espresso, chocolate malt powder, and ice into a cocktail shaker. Shake 10 times.
    Use 3 Nespresso Starbucks Blonde Espresso pods or pull 3 shots from an espresso machine. No cocktail shaker? If you don’t have a cocktail shaker, use a large jar with a tight lid.
  • Pour drink into a cup. Add almond milk.
    Top off with more ice if needed.

NOTES

  • 1 shot of espresso = 1 Nespresso espresso capsule
  • To make a 16 ounce (grande) Starbucks drink, you’ll need 3 Nespresso espresso or ristretto capsules.
  • With the Vertuo machine capsules, only use espresso capsules and not the coffee capsules that make 7.77 ounces.
  • There's no need to add simple syrup to this drink unless you like your drink extra sweet since the chocolate malt powder and almond milk both contain sugar.
  • Starbucks uses a splash of almond milk but feel free to add more to taste.
  • Instead of almond milk, top off your drink with vanilla sweet cream cold foam!
