INSTRUCTIONS

  • Pour honey syrup then Blonde Espresso into a cup.
  • Add oat milk and ice.
  • Sprinkle sugar on top as garnish.

NOTES

  • Don't have Blonde Espresso? The drink tastes great with regular espresso so feel free to use whichever espresso you have.
  • Use homemade honey syrup since it's so easy to make. Honey syrup is honey dissolved in hot water. Creating a syrup instead of using straight honey makes it easier to stir it into the drink. Make a batch ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator.
  • You can use any brand of oat milk you like but Starbucks uses Oatly oat milk. No need to get barista oat milk since the oat milk won't be steamed or made hot. The barista blends of oat milk are formulated so that they froth better.
  • Turbinado sugar replaces the Toasted Honey Topping that Starbucks uses to garnish the drink.
  • All lattes (hot and iced) are made with espresso. If you don't have an espresso machine or Nespresso, use strong, double-strength coffee or cold brew but it won't taste quite the same.
