Homemade cold brew takes at least 20 hours to steep in the refrigerator, so make this first. Or, you can use store-bought cold brew.
Homemade vanilla syrup can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator until ready to use.
Instead of vanilla cold foam, vanilla cream can be used if you don't want to create foam. Combine half & half and vanilla syrup and pour it into the drink.
If you don't have a French press or a handheld milk frother to make cold foam, use a large jar with a tight lid and vigorously shake half & half and vanilla syrup until it thickens.
Don’t overfill the French press. Since the cold foam will almost double in volume as air is pumped in, only fill the French press halfway.
This recipe uses vanilla syrup to flavor and sweeten the cold foam but you can use any flavored simple syrup you like.
To use Irish whiskey instead of the Jameson Cold Brew Irish Whiskey, combine 1/8 cup of Irish whiskey to a cup of sweetened cold brew coffee, add ice, and top with vanilla cold foam.
