Honey and water are all that's needed to make this easy honey simple syrup.

INGREDIENTS
 

  • cup honey
  • cup water

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Heat honey and water in a saucepan and just as the water starts to simmer, turn off the heat.
    Stir until honey dissolves completely and let it cool.
    ⅔ cup honey, ⅓ cup water
  • Stir until honey dissolves completely and let it cool.
  • Pour syrup into an airtight container.
    The syrup will keep for 3 weeks in the refrigerator.

NOTES

  • Recipe makes 1 cup (16 tablespoons) of syrup.
  • Use 1-2 tablespoons of syrup for an 8 ounce drink.
  • The honey and water doesn't need to come to a boil. It just needs to be warm enough so that the honey can be completely dissolved.
