INGREDIENTS

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Put espresso into a cup.
Use 2 Nespresso espresso pods or pull 2 shots from an espresso machine.
  • Add milk and ice.

NOTES

  • 1 shot of espresso = 1 Nespresso espresso capsule
  • To make a 16 ounce (grande) Starbucks drink, you’ll need 2 Nespresso espresso or ristretto capsules. You can also use 1 Vertuo double espresso.
  • With the Vertuo machine capsules, only use espresso capsules and not the coffee capsules that make 7.77 ounces.
  • Starbucks uses 2% milk for their Iced Lattes but you can use any milk you like including almond milk or oat milk.
  • To sweeten without adding flavors, use a simple syrup, which will mix into the drink the easiest. Use flavored simple syrups like vanilla to sweeten and flavor the drink.
  • There are many ways to customize an Iced Latte. Use blonde espresso instead of a dark, swap out espresso shots with ristretto, or top the drink with vanilla sweet cream cold foam.
  • If you don't have an espresso machine or a Nespresso, you can use instant coffee. Combine 1 tablespoon of instant coffee and 1/4 cup hot water to replace the 2 shots of espresso in the recipe.
  • Out of all espresso-based drinks, lattes are made with the most milk. If you want more of a coffee taste, use less milk or add another shot of espresso.
