Customizing Drinks
Espresso
If you’re getting an espresso-based drink like an Iced Latte, you can add more espresso, ask for it to be made with ristretto shots, decaf or with blonde espresso instead of their signature dark roasted espresso.
Flavors
If you want to customize a classic like Iced Coffee, try adding any available syrup or sauce, like mocha sauce, hazelnut syrup, and brown sugar syrup, in your beverage. Syrups and sauces are usually ordered by the pump.
Sweeteners
Aside from regular sugar, there are a few other options like honey, Splenda, and Classic syrup (simple syrup) to add sweetness to a drink without flavoring it.
Milk
There are multiple milk options available including soy milk, coconut milk, almond milk, oat milk, and sweet cream.
Cold foam or whipped cream
Cold foam can be added to any iced drink.Whipped cream can be added to any hot or cold drink. There is regular cold foam, which is made with nonfat milk, and flavored cold foams, which are usually made with heavy cream, like vanilla sweet cream cold foam.
Toppings
Caramel drizzle, pumpkin spice topping, and cinnamon dolce sprinkles are examples of extra toppings you can add onto a drink.

Tips for Ordering
- Starbucks flavors and sweetens their coffee with syrups that can be added to any drink. You can customize any drink with any of the syrups they have available. For example, you can get an Iced Americano with sugar-free vanilla syrup or an Iced Coffee with toffee nut syrup. Note that customizations may cost extra.
- Iced coffee and cold brew can be ordered in the giant trenta (30 ounces) drink size. But, it only goes up to a venti (24 ounces) for all espresso based iced drinks like Iced Mocha and Iced Americano. Nitro Cold Brew can only be ordered in 2 sizes: tall (12 ounces) and grande (16 ounces).
- Iced and cold coffees are made with 2% milk unless otherwise noted. You can replace the 2% with any milk of your choice.
